Expressive Figure Paintings

While these appear to be fluid figure paintings, I experienced them as meditations. These were an act of weekly centering, making time and space to coming back to my roots as an artist at the Brentwood Art Center. I attended Ed Buttwinick's Wednesday night life drawing classes starting at age 12. The BAC was a safe space like no other. It was a cocoon in which I could feel nurtured and grow.
